Background:
Relinquised made its first appearence in the Starter Deck Pegasus structure. It later became an ultra in the Magic Ruler set. It also appeared in the Masters Collection as a SCR and in Dark Beginnings 1 as a Super.
This card was the key to Pegasus's deck in the Duelist Kingdom series which stole Yugis Dark Magician. This is also a Fusion material monster for Thousand Eyes Restrict, which he later summons to the field. He also made a cameo appearence in the GX series as an angry spirit in a well where bad cards are thrown (don't listen Relinquished, you are great!)
Effect:
Select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field and equip it to this card (this effect can only be used once per turn and you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card). The ATK and DEFof this card become the same amounts as the monster equipped to this card. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle, the equipped monster is destroyed instead, and any battle damage you received from the battle is also inflicted to your opponent's lifepoints.
Why would I run this card in any deck?
Thats what I am about to explain silly.
OK, so here is a guy that can suck up any monster he chooses. He can get rid of facedown monsters (although he will not gain an attack and defence boost from the monsters) and even syncros that are usually hard to get around normally, like Stardust Dragon or Colossal Fighter. The bigger the monster you take with him, the harder he will be to get rid of by battle. Even if they destroy you in battle, the equipped monster dies and next turn Relinquised will be there to suck up that bigger monster. The best part about him is that the summoning of him doesn't lose you advantage. This is because the monster you tribute (-1) and Black Illusion ritual (-1) are replaced by Relinquished (+1) which I then declare priority to take a monster (+1).
Now lets get on with the deck.
Ritual Support:
Monsters:
Relinquished: The deck wouldn't be a Relinquished deck without Relinquished.
Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands: This guy can grab me anything I want, weather it be a Relinquished or a Black Illusion Ritual. Drawing him makes the deck so much more consistent. Also it is a good LIGHT fodder for Chaos Sorceror.
Djinn, Releaser of Rituals: Now this chick is awesome. 3 Star with 1200 Attack (Mystic Tomato) and a beefy 2000 Defence if I need the stall. She is essentially a double Ritual fodder, or I can just send her directly to the grave for a quick summon. Her effect is that my opponent cannot special summon, so its like a Fossil Dyna for my Relinquished. Lets say I grab a Stardust with Relinquished when I used this for its summon. Without a syncro, attacking over this becomes a real chore. Also, Lightsworn cannot nuke with JD and DARK decks cannot use Dark Armed. Easily the best control card for this deck.
Spells:
Black Illusion Ritual: Easily one of the best Ritual Magic cards out there, mainly because it can be LV1 or higher and does not need to be exact.
Preparation of Rites: Adding Relinquished from the deck to the hand and nabbing a used Black Illusion Ritual is amazing. +1 and pays for the ritual cost.
General Support:
Monsters:
Mystic Tomato: This can get me my Armageddon Knight to send the Djinn of Djinn herself if I want to use her. Makes a strong opening play move.
Chaos Sorceror: With the LIGHT and DARK monsters around, this card is amazing. A 2300 floater that I can use whenever I am in trouble, its an amazing card.
Cyber Dragon: 2100 and a LIGHT. Summoning conditions are easy too. Baits out Bottomless and Oppresion before big Chaos Sorceror plays.
Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind: Halve the attack of a monster and I can now Syncro with this deck. Yeah, awesome card. With Djinn I can Goyo, and with Armageddon Knight and other LV4 I can Black Rose, and with Cyber, I can Stardust.
Sangan: Another Mystic Tomato target. This guy can search me out Djinn when I use it for a Ritual summon or I can just let him die.
Armageddon Knight: I like this guy. Fuels Pot of Avarice and can get my Djinn to the graveyard faster.
Dark Grepher: Sets up Dark Armed plays nicely and lets me do stuff whenever I want.
Dark Armed Dragon: A 2nd boss monster to contend with Relinquished. This guy allows me to clear the field for massive plays or an OTK if I feel like it. Good at getting rid of pesky backrows.
Spells:
Allure of Darkness: Speed and lots of it. Can remove cards I don't need at the time (Knight and Grepher) for new ones, and lets me power through dead draws.
Heavy Storm: Generic S/T removal. Amazing card with Relinquished, as I can take a monster, then next turn Heavy and steal the other one.
Mystical Space Typhoon: Same as Heavy.
Brain Control: The card is too broken for me not to play it. I can tribute their monster for the Ritual summon, or Syncro or push for game.
Lightning Vortex: Moster Removal again.
My Body as a Shield: One of the most suprising cards this format, although it doesn't get around Brionac it does get around Icarus Attack is and is amazing versus Lightsworn (Celestia and JD plays). 1 more is sided because it is awesome.
Reinforcements of the Army: Deckthinning for an Arma Knight or Grepher.
Pot of Avarice: Comboes nicely with Preparition of Rites, and lets me reuse other vital monsters like DAD.
Traps:
Bottomless Trap Hole: Probally the best trap in the game right now.
Trap Hole: Does amazing vs Lightsworn and Blackwings.
Trap Dustshoot: Knowlege usually leads to win the game.
Mirror Force: Staple trap.
Torrential Tribute: Staple trap.
Call of the Haunted: Staple trap.
Solemn Judgment: Staple trap.
And with all of that explanation folly out of the way, here is the decklist.

The best plays in this deck is determined by what your opponent is playing. The biggest weakness this has is against Anti Meta and other decks that are heavy in removal. Relinquished cannot protect itself vs a Smashing Ground or Fissure, so be cautious when summoning it.
Also, alot of S/T removal is needed to be sided due to stall decks and decks that main Oppression. There is so much removal in the traps and monsters that you needn't worry about monster removal (but Legendary Jujitsu Master is always handy). And another tip is to side Necro Gardnas, as you have many ways to get them to the graveyard and can give you a hint on what they sided due to stalling attacks. Arma Knight and Grepher also become much better when the Gardnas are in the deck.
